Touchpoints inside a campaign
How touchpoints link to campaigns and how to customise their schedule.
Touchpoints in HubSlot are workspace-level formats and placements defined once and reused across all campaigns (e.g., "Homepage Billboard", "Weekly Newsletter"). When you create a campaign, you select which touchpoints it will use.
How touchpoints work in a campaign
- Each selected touchpoint inherits the campaign's start and end dates by default.
- You can set custom start and end dates per touchpoint, for example if a newsletter placement runs only in the first week of a month-long campaign.
- You can add the same touchpoint more than once (e.g., two newsletter slots in a single campaign). Each is an independent bar on the timeline.
How campaigns appear in the Timeline
In the Timeline view, each touchpoint row shows the campaign bars of every campaign that includes it. If a touchpoint has custom dates, the bar reflects those dates rather than the overall campaign period.
Edit touchpoints in an existing campaign
Open the campaign detail and click Edit to add new touchpoints, remove existing ones, or adjust their custom dates.
